Even in this cold and snowy month of February I wanted to share with you the exciting news about the 9th Annual Chick-fil-A * All God's Children Charity Golf Classic, set for Friday, August 6th at Connemara in Nicholasville. Already one of the best tournaments in Central Kentucky, we’re proud to announce that former International Long Drive Champion David Brinker and Golf Trick-Shot Artist, PGA Pro and Master Club Maker Mike Tait will bring their expertise plus “fun and games” to our charity event. Both will be on the course that day with drives and trick shots that will make you “drool” with envy. They’ll also introduce you to a device that will send a golf ball 500+ yards; and David & Mike will treat our early-registered players to a workshop on the intricacies of club making and the club’s intended performance. As David states, “This workshop will amaze you!” We’ve also added two exciting new games to our tournament lineup this year and both give you a great chance to win lots of money! In short, this truly will be one of Central Kentucky’s best golf tournaments and most talked about golfing events of 2010. Don’t miss it!

Why? We are almost assured of a sell-out of this special tournament and it’s likely we may hold a second “next-day” event to accommodate all the interest generated by our guest professionals and the new format.

We’re going back to Connemara this year because of the many new improvements to the course and the unmatched hospitality they so generously provide our organization. Their new clubhouse / sports bar & grill is now open and all bunkers have been renovated, improved and filled with pure white sand. Their greens and fairways are also in “tournament” condition.
