Thank you for your interest in joining our team at All God’s Children. We look for people that want to help change the lives of in-crisis teen mom & their babies. We want you to know as much as possible about our organization and requirements for employment before you begin the application process.

 

Our Mission Statement reads:

“All God’s Children provides care and support to young mothers and their children and families. Through Christ-centered ministries, our non-profit organization offers safe, temporary shelter and programs which address their physical, emotional, education and spiritual needs. By offering sufficient support and life skills, we believe that young women can move beyond challenging circumstances to become loving parents and productive citizens.”

 

General employment requirements:

All new employees that have direct contact with the residents of our program (Primary Youth Care Worker, Assistant Youth Care Worker, Day Care Director, Day Care Assistant, Director of Treatment Services, etc.,) must undergo a criminal records check; obtain CPR and First Aid training (approximately 6 hours) and pass a TB skin test. All God’s Children, Inc. pays for these tests and training.

Also, Computer Access is required. Youth care worker and Transportation Schedules are posted online.

Immediate Opening: Youth Care Worker (Part-Time)

(This is not a daycare position and this is NOT A 1st SHIFT POSITION)

Duties: Supervision of in crisis teen moms and their babies in a residential treatment center setting

Shifts/Hours: SHIFTS  SAT &/OR SUN.  8am-10:30pm | M-F 4:00 till 10:30 pm 2-3 nights per week.

Wages: $8.50 - $9.50/hr (Approximately 20-30 hrs per week)

Requirements: Availability, flexibility, commitment to Mission Statement, acknowledge & understand Statement of Faith. Must be 23 years or older. Most training is provided during 1st shift hours. Training attendance is required. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent, a valid driver’s license, must complete and pass a DCBS and Criminal Records Background check.

Immediate Opening: Transport Driver (Part-Time)


Duties: Transportation of in crisis teen moms and their babies in a residential treatment setting to various appointments like medical, dental, court, stores, school, etc.

Hours:
 Availability needed for daily transports possible during the hours of 8AM – 5:00 PM during the week. (Transportation hours needed vary day to day and week to week.

Wages
: $8.25 hr (Approximately 20-25 hrs per week possible) 

Requirements: Availability, flexibility, commitment to Mission Statement, acknowledge & understand Statement of Faith. Must be 23 years or older. Most training is provided during 1st shift hours. Training attendance is required. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent, a valid driver’s license, must complete and pass a DCBS and Criminal Records Background check.

Immediate Opening: Dietary Position


Experience requires: Microsoft (MS) programs like Excel, Word, & Outlook required, knowledge in cooking, dietary needs, budgeting.

Duties include:
 shopping, price comparison, designing menus (one month in advance) and menu preparation for weekends in advance and preparing evening meals nightly.

Hours:
Position would require availability Monday - Friday. (Approx 25-27 hours per week). Schedule is flexible based on dietary needs.

Wages:
$8.00/hr

Applicant must provide: a valid drivers license (KY), High School Diploma or its equivalent, take a food handlers course and be at least 25 yrs of age.

Immediate Opening: Office Position (Part-Time)


Duties include: Answering multi-line phone system, making appointments, scheduling visits, faxing, charting, filing, data entry.

Applicant must be: a very detailed, an organized person with good communication skills. Individual must provide valid drivers license. High School Diploma or its equivalent, must be at least 21 yrs of age. Position would require possible availability Monday - Friday. Approximately 25-30 hours per week. Hours to be determined.

Wages:  $8.00 hr.

Experience requires: Knowledge in Microsoft (MS) programs like Excel, Word, required
